Helena R\u00fcegg is the host of the podcast “Los maestros de la m\u00fasica cuentan”. Helena knows the world of Argentine tango like no one else. Not only did she study bandoneon in Argentina with Maestros Rodolfo Mederos and Julio Pane, in Paris with Juan Jos\u00e9 Mosalini and at the Rotterdam Conservatory Codarts, but as a bandoneon player Helena travels all over the world to give concerts with various ensembles and orchestras.<\/p>

As a journalist she was able to interview all the greats of Argentine tango and folklore music in the late 1990s, many of them in the meantime sadly deceased. His interviews are now published in this podcast series. Previously they were used for one of the reference works about tango\u00a0“Tango, history and stories”.<\/a>\u00a0a book that has been translated into several languages.<\/p>

Rob Bangert<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The producer of the podcast series “Music Masters Tell” is Rob Bangert. Rob studied musicology at the University of Amsterdam and classical and electric guitar at the Amsterdam Conservatory. After these experiences he studied tango at the Escuela de M\u00fasica Popular de Avellanada in Buenos Aires. There he met Rodolfo Mederos, with whom he performed for the first time in Buenos Aires and subsequently toured Europe on two extensive tours. In addition to the technical production of the series, Rob is also responsible for public relations and marketing. He also manages the website and social media.<\/p>\n

Rob and Helena also form a musical duo (Duo La Luna, bandoneon and guitar). Several Argentine composers have written works especially for this duo such as Rodolfo Mederos, Quique Sinesi, M\u00e1ximo Diego Pujol, Pablo Estigarribia and Emanuel Trifilio.<\/p>\n
