Marcelo Nisinman
Marcelo Nisinman is today one of the most innovative composers and bandoneonists of Argentine tango. He has not only played with great tango legends such as Roberto Goyeneche, Osvaldo Berlingheri and Osvaldo Tarantino. He has also performed with classical and jazz stars such as Martha Argerich, Gidon Kremer, Gary Burton and the Assad brothers. In 2004 he wrote his first chamber opera, which was premiered in Basel. In 2008 he was composer-in-residence at the Oxford Chamber Music Festival and performed at many other festivals as composer and bandoneonist.
But now, we dedicate the next two episodes of our podcast series to the interview I did with this extraordinary tango (and bandoneon) musician in 2000!
